TWG offers hundreds of leisure-oriented properties that are individually selected to meet TWG's stringent standards of excellence for quality, service, and value in its particular category. We rate properties based on the star system below.

If a property does not live up to our customers' expectations, it is removed from our product line and replaced with a more suitable property at the destination.

5 STAR

Pure Luxury: Exceptional. These unique hotels, resorts, and villas are among the very best in the world. They cater to upscale, independent vacationers who expect highly personalized service in luxurious surroundings.

4½ STAR

Deluxe+: Excellent. Exceeds the criteria for the 4-star property in certain areas.

4 STAR

Deluxe: Very good accommodations and facilities; everything you need and more: luxurious public areas, well-appointed rooms, and service delivered with style.

3½ STAR

Superior: Exceeds the criteria for the 3-star property in certain areas.

3 STAR

Moderate: Comfortable accommodations with limited services and amenities. Excellent value for the cost-conscious traveler.

A NOTE ABOUT RESORT FEES

Several resorts in Hawaii and the Bahamas charge a daily resort fee. This fee is paid directly to the hotel and may not be included in your package price. Please check with your reservation agent to verify if your hotel charges a resort fee.

In addition to the rating system above we also use the following broad categories to describe a property's overall ambience.

Boutique	Typically a small, Intimate property with under 60 rooms.

Rustic Chic	Similar to an elegant, upscale lodge. Usually a small property.

Country Club Chic	Typically a large, sprawling resort with all the amenities and a casually elegant, upscale feel. In the Caribbean & Mexico, may be all-inclusive or offer an all-inclusive option.

Adult-Only	Most similar to the Country Club Chic above in a "children-free" environment. In the Caribbean & Mexico, may be all-inclusive or offer an all-inclusive option.

Adult Couples-Only	Similar to Adult only, with a more romantic atmosphere. Perfect for honeymoons and romantic getaways. In the Caribbean & Mexico, may be all-inclusive or offer an all-inclusive option.

Village-Style Resort	Typically a large, sprawling, active resort with all the amenities. Fun for everyone - couples, singles, and families. In the Caribbean & Mexico, may be all-inclusive or offer an all-inclusive option.
